Description of service

This website allows individuals who have registered with this website as potential employees (Registered Users) to create and maintain a user profile for the purposes of securing employment opportunities (Registered User Profile). Registered User Profiles are a classified listing displaying the Registered User’s skills and experience. Employers or third parties involved in recruitment activities who have registered as potential employers or employment agents with this website (Registered Employers) can choose to initiate contact with a Registered User regarding possible employment opportunities. A Registered User will be notified when a Registered Employer wishes to establish contact. The Registered User then has the option to accept or decline a request to connect based on the employer profile of the Registered Employer (Registered Employer Profile). Should a request be accepted, registered contact details will be exchanged with both parties.

All Registered Employers agree to their Employer Profile being displayed within the websites Employer Directory where selected Registered Users have an option of Expressing their Interest with the Registered Employer. When this situation occurs, the Registered Employer will receive an Email notification of the Registered Users interest in discussing potential job opportunities with the Registered Employer. The Registered Employer can then choose to Request the Contact details of the Registered User should their Profile be of interest.

Fees & Payment

Registered Users and Registered Employers can opt to purchase Premium Features should they choose. Premium Features are paid features that provide the Registered User or Registered Employer with additional services and features that are not accessible to those with a basic (free) account. PayPal is our third party payment provider responsible for all payment processing. PayPal are fully PCI compliant and process all transactions via their secure hosted payment function. Users will be transferred to PayPal's secure website for payment processing (we do not store any Credit Card data). Once payment has been processed, users will return to our website. Current fees for Premium Features are listed on our Premium Features payment page. Once Premium Features have been purchased, the payment is non-refundable and non-cancellable. We reserve the right to change the fees charged for any of our services at any time. In the event that we introduce a new service, the fees for that service are effective at the launch of the service, unless otherwise stated. All fees are in New Zealand Dollars and include GST.

Disclaimer

Although the information provided on this website is presented in good faith, the website owners (“We”) are not responsible for any Registered User or Registered Employer content, and We make no warranties or representations as to the accuracy or completeness of this website or its content, including any Registered User or Registered Employer Profiles. We provide our services only for the purposes of providing an introductory service between Registered Users and Registered Employers within New Zealand. Registered Users should always use their own judgement and perform their own background checks in deciding to accept or decline an offer to connect by Registered Employers and Registered Employers should always use their own judgement in deciding whether to contact a Registered User and perform their own background checks in deciding whether to employ, or make an offer of employment to, a Registered User.

Website Access

This website and its services are provided for Registered Users who are of legal employment age and legally able to work in New Zealand (e.g. possessing all necessary visas etc) and for Registered Employers involved in recruitment activities within New Zealand, and must not be used for any purpose other than for legal employment related activities.

We make no representation or warranty that the material in this website is appropriate or available for use in all countries or that such material satisfies the laws of all countries. If you choose to access this website you do so of your own initiative. You are responsible for ensuring that your access to this website is not illegal or prohibited and for your own compliance with applicable local laws.

Password and Log in Security

You are responsible for the security of your username and password to log into this website and you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your login name (whether undertaken by you or a third party). You are also responsible for the security of any computer or device you use to log into, or to remain logged into, this website. If you believe that your username and password is being used by someone else please contact us immediately.

Exclusion of Liability and Warranties

In the event that this exclusion of liability is held to be invalid in whole or in part, or is deemed not to excluded certain liability, then our maximum liability shall be limited to NZ$500.

To the maximum extent permitted by law (but subject to the clause titled Consumer Protections), We exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these terms and conditions, including any implied warranties and conditions.

Consumer Protections

Without limiting any other rights and remedies available to us, We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, limit your activities on this website, remove your Registered User or Registered Employer Profile and any associated information or files, issue a warning to you, suspend or terminate your membership to this website, or refuse to provide our services to you if you breach these terms and conditions or where We consider it appropriate for any reason whatsoever. If We suspend your access to this website and/or its services We are not, to the maximum extent permitted by law, liable for any loss, damages or consequences suffered by you or any other party.

Prohibited conduct

Except to the extent expressly permitted by these terms and conditions, you must not do any of the following when you access this website or use its services:

  • attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any of the software or code comprising or in any way making up a part of this website;

  • stalk or harass anyone;
  • attempt to disrupt or interfere with the delivery of the services;
  • download, access, use or harvest Registered User or Registered Employer details;
  • sell, redistribute or use information contained on this website for a commercial purpose without our prior written consent;
  • or pass on username and password information to anyone other than the authorised user of that account.

You warrant that all information provided to us or this website is true, complete and accurate information. If your information changes you are responsible for updating your information on the website. If you want to disable these “cookies”, you may do so by changing the setting on your browser. However, if you disable “cookies”, you may not be able to use all the functions on this website.
